Sweden’s SHINING the, extreme metal band founded by controversial front man Niklas Kvarforth, has today entered the Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden, with producer Andy La Rocque to begin recording the bands eighth full-length album, which, as is usual with SHINING, currently only bears the working title VIII.
SHINING has set up a blog which will track the whole recording process, and will feature updates from the band’s manager, who will be present throughout the filming, and contributions from the various members themselves, as well as a “fly on the wall” video diary.
