In exactly one week today Dark Essence Records will release the long-awaited third full-length album from Psychedelic Prog Black Metallers HAIL SPIRIT NOIR, and, having already debuted one track from the album, fans are being treated to a second track from “Mayhem in Blue”.

Mixed by by Dimitris Douvras (ROTTING CHRIST etc) and mastered  Alan Douches (CHELSEA WOLFE, MOTORHEAD etc), “Mayhem in Blue” will hit the streets on the 28th October in CD and Digital formats, whilst the 12″ Vinyl edition will be available from the 16 December.  In the meantime “Mayhem in Blue” is available  to pre-order in CD and vinyl formats from https://www.darkessencerecords.no/shop/  and the US website at https://darkessence.aisamerch.com , as well as at https://hailspiritnoir.bandcamp.com  where the album is also available digitally.

Formed in Thesaloniki, Greece, in 2010,  HAIL SPIRIT NOIR’s  lineup is composed of Haris (KATAVASIA, TRANSCENDING BIZARRE?)  on Synths, Theoharis (TRANSCENDING BIZARRE?, REX MUNDI,) on guitars and vocals, and J Demian (BLACKDRAWN, DOL AMMAD, WARDRUM TRANSCENDING BIZARRE?) on bass and acoustic guitars.  Commenting recently on the new album, the band had this to say:

“It’s been two and a half years since the release of our last album, and with “Mayhem In Blue” we have set out to express our more aggressive side, without sacrificing any of the psychedelic melodies that are  an integral  part of what we like to call HAIL SPIRIT NOIR’ s “weird black sound”.  If anything, in fact, the sound is more enticing and trippy than ever”.

To celebrate the release of “Mayhem in Blue” HAIL SPIRIT NOIR have scheduled two shows in Greece, which will see them play alongside Norwegian Pioneering Experimental Rockers VIRUS.  The shows will take place at the Kyttaro Live Club in Athens on the 28th October, and the Eight Ball Live Stage in the band’s home town of Thessaloniki on the 29th October.
