Having previously announced their two-album deal with Osmose Productions, ENEPSIGOS are currently in the final stages of production of their latest album “Wrath of Wraths”, the follow up to their very successful debut full-length “Plague of Plagues”.
Set for release in 2020 on a date as yet to be announced, “Wrath of Wraths” promises more of ENEPSIGOS’ trademark brutality, darkness, and ritualistic undertones, unashamedly rooted in early, and some would say “true”, Black Metal traditions.
Formed in 2016, ENEPSIGOS’ original members V.I.T.H.R, otherwise known as Doedsadmiral, founder and frontman of bands such as NORDJEVEL, SVARTELDER and DOEDSVANGR, and drummer Thorns, known for his work with BLUT AUS NORD, DEATHROW, FIDES INVERSA, FROSTMOON ECLISPE and DARVAZA amongst others, have welcomed new member Rituul on bass and guitars.
Having reached a point in ENEPSIGOS’ career where there is a new album in the offing and a solid lineup, the band all feel that the time is right to begin performing live, and, to this end, have inked a deal with the Flaming Arts Agency who will handle bookings .
After two hugely successful albums and an ever-increasing fan base, Black Metallers NORDJEVEL have today announced that they have signed to Norwegian label Indie Recordings for the release of their next album. According to founder Doedsadmiral, the decision to change labels was originally a question of practicality as much as anything else:
We worked very well with Osmose Productions on our first two albums, and we have no complaints at all, indeed, they were instrumental in making those albums so successful, but we really wanted to work with a local label where we would be able to drop into their offices whenever we had anything to discuss. We had a good discussion with Indie and they came up with the right package and, very importantly to us, a way or working that suited NORDJEVEL, so here we are – ready for the next stage of the band’s development.
Being a band that is quite prolific in the production of videos, there is, needless to say, a new one on the horizon, which will be for the track “The Fevered Lands” from NORDJEVEL’s album “Necrogenesis”, which was released on Osmose Productions earlier this year. A teaser for the video, which includes a welcome message from Indie, can be seen at below and at https://youtu.be/Cfh77fPhfis

In another piece of news, NORDJEVEL have also confirmed that following his recent sabbatical VREDEHAMMER’s Valla is now back on guitars, rejoining a stellar lineup that includes Doedsadmiral (SVARTELDER, DOEDSVANGR, ENEPSIGOS) on vocals, DzeptiCunt (ex-RAGNAROK) on bass, Destruchtor (MYRKSKOG, ex-MORBID ANGEL) on guitars and backing vocals, and Dominator (ex-DARK FUNERAL) on drums.
Having just finished a 23-date tour supporting BELPHEGOR and SUFFOCATION, NORDJEVEL is once again set to hit road in June in support of POSSESSED on their “Devils Over Europe” tour. Routing as follows:

A follow up to Nordjevel’s 2016 self-titled debut full-length album, “Necrogenesis” sees the band’s core of founder and vocalist Doedsadmiral (SVARTELDER, DOEDSVANGR, ENEPSIGOS) and bassist DzeptiCunt (ex-RAGNAROK), being joined by Destruchtor (MYRKSKOG, ex-MORBID ANGEL) on guitars and backing vocals, and Dominator (ex-DARK FUNERAL) on drums.
Talking about the effect the new arrivals have had on the band, Doedsadmiral recently had this to say:
With the addition of Destruchtor and Dominator to the band’s lineup, NORDJEVEL has never been so strong. “Necrogenesis” is a much darker and violent album. It is also more varied and mature, both musically and lyrically. We definitely did not want to get stuck in a rut and churn out an identikit version of our debut, and, fortunately, we all felt that we wanted to go in the same direction, so we were all able to work together extremely well on the new songs. Having said that, “Necrogenesis” was a hard bastard of an album to complete, and at times we felt that the universe was conspiring against us, so it became a very personal album for all of us.
“Necrogenesis”, which was released on Osmose Productions on the 29th March, was recorded at Velvet Recording in Spydeberg, Norway, “Necrogenesis” and was engineered by Nordjevel and Christer Krogh, and mixed and mastered by Patric Darkhyrys at his WSL Studios in France.

Norwegian Black Metallers NORDJEVEL, whose self-titled debut full-length album was released on Osmose Produtions to great critical acclaim three years ago, are back with a vengeance with “Necrogenesis”, an album which sees the band’s core of founder and vocalist Doedsadmiral (SVARTELDER, DOEDSVANGR, ENEPSIGOS) and bassist DzeptiCunt (ex-RAGNAROK), being joined by Destruchtor (MYRKSKOG, ex-MORBID ANGEL) on guitars and backing vocals, and Dominator (ex-DARK FUNERAL) on drums.
The new arrivals have enabled NORDJEVEL to expand its musical horizons and produce an album that promises to be more ferocious than its predecessor, as Doedsadmiral explains:

It is also more varied and mature, both musically and lyrically. Norwegian Black Metallers SVARTELDER have today revealed details of their second full-length album “Pits” which is set for release on Dusktone in January 2019.
Founder and frontman Doedsadmiral (NORDJEVEL, DOEDSVANGR, ENEPSIGOS) shared some information about the album:
“Despite there being a theme running through the lyrics of its seven tracks, “Pits” is not a concept album. Nor was it ever our intention to make it one. It is an album that explores ones deepest pain and misery. That difficult battle to crawl out of the pit of despair and back to the world, only to find that the world has deteriorated into something lifeless and miserable. So much so, in fact, that you just want to let go and once again fall back into your pit .
“With our previous releases, the debut full-length “Pyres” and the “Askbundet” EP, we felt that SVARTELDER was still finding itself, and with “Pits” we have pushed ourselves even further musically. As an album “Pits” is more, aggressive and more melancholic than its predecessors. In fact, you could say that “Pits” is more of all that makes SVARTELDER what it is”.
To give fans a taste of what they can expect from “Pits”, SVARTELDER have debuted a track from the album, which can be heard below and on YouTube at https://youtu.be/w9oyjXDQDdc

“Pits” was mixed and mastered by Patric at the WSL Studios in France, whilst much of the recording itself was done in the individual studios of band members Doedsadmiral on vocals, Tjalve on bass and guitars, Renton on synth and Spektre on drums.
With artwork by Khaos Diktator Design, “Pits” will be available in CD, Digital, Black Vinyl and Limited Edition (100 copies) Deep Blue Vinyl formats and can be pre-ordered now at https://dusktone.bandcamp.com/album/pits
With their debut full-length album “Plague of Plagues” having been released at the beginning of the year on Drakkar Productions, and with work progressing steadily on the follow up, Black Metallers ENEPSIGOS have inked a two -album deal with Osmose Productions.
ENEPSIGOS was formed in the summer of 2016 by V.I.T.H.R, otherwise known as Doedsadmiral, the founder and frontman of NORDJEVEL, SVARTELDER and DOEDSVANGR, who, like ENEPSIGOS, are all relatively new bands, but whose lineups are composed of hugely experienced musicians, drawn from some of the best known exponents of Black Metal. For ENEPSIGOS, V.I.T.H.R has been able to call on the services of former SARKOM guitarist Straff and drummer Thorns, known for his work with BLUT AUS NORD, DEATHROW, FIDES INVERSA, FROSTMOON ECLISPE and DARVAZA amongst others.
With its roots firmly entrenched in the traditions of early Black Metal, ENEPSIGOS’ music is dark and brutal, with ritualistic undertones, and has been described in the press as having a “vicious intensity”. The, as yet to be titled, follow up to “Plague of Plagues”, whose drums have already been recorded, promises more of the same darkness.
Commenting on the decision to sign with Osmose, V.I.T.H.R had this to say: “It was a natural progression to a bigger label who could take us further along the road. I already knew how Osmose worked, because NORDJEVEL is signed with them, and it has been a close collaboration, with everyone having an input and exchanging ideas. It’s a very productive way to work as far as I’m concerned”.
Black Metallers NORDJEVEL are set to play 14 dates in the USA in May, culminating in an appearance at the Maryland Deathfest – this will be the first time that NORDJEVEL plays in North America. Supporting throughout the tour will be New Yorkers IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT and the routing is as follows:
MAY

Fri 12: The Smiling Moose, Pittsburgh, PA
Sat 13: The Summit, Columbus, OH
Sun 14: Al’s Bar, Lexington, KY
Mon15: East Room, Nashville, TN
Tue 16: Siberian, New Orleans, LU
Thu 18: The Dungeon Tavern, Panama City, FL

Fri 26: Maryland Deathfest, Baltimore, MD
NORDJEVEL was founded by frontman Doedsadmiral (SVARTELDER, DOEDSVANGR, ENEPSIGOS) and guitarist Nord (FATAL IMPACT, TVANGESTE, BYRDI), and, making use of Doedsadmiral’s considerable skills at bringing together musicians who are not only hugely experienced, but who also share the same musical ideas and ideals, the bands ranks were quickly swelled by MARDUK’s Fredrik Widigs on drums, and former RAGNAROK bassist DzeptiCunt. With NORDJEVEL’s distinctive sound firmly set, the band recently announced the addition of another guitarist to their lineup in the shape of Morten “Noralf” Kleftaas, who had previously appeared with the band as a session live guitarist.
Having been courted by a number of labels on the strength of some rough mixes, NORDJEVEL signed with Osmose Productions and released their debut full-length album in 2016. The self-titled album was an instant success both with the critics and fans, and it became clear very quickly that demand for the band to appear live was something that needed to be addressed, and NORDJEVEL became a fully functioning live entity, as opposed to just a studio-based project.
Currently working on their next full-length album, NORDJEVEL have just released a limited edition 7″ EP entitled “Krigsmakt”. With artwork by Khaos Diktator Design, the three-track EP is limited to 500 copies, the B side of which is silk screen printed and comes with a printed inner sleeve .

With the 27th March set for the release of “Satan Ov Suns” on Immortal Frost Productions, Black Metallers DOEDSVANGR have today posted a video for a track from the album. Created by Moornebheym, the video, for the track “Black Dawn”, can be seen below and on YouTube at https://youtu.be/zItJ2GLLPGM

Whilst DOEDSVNGR is a relatively new band, there is no denying the fact that the Norwegian/Finnish lineup comprising Shatraug (HORNA, SARGEIST, BEHEXEN and NIGHTBRINGER), Anti-Christian (TSJUDER, BEATEN TO DEATH) and founder and frontman Doedsadmiral (NORDJEVEL, SVARTELDER, ENEPSIGOS) contains some of the most experienced and respected musicians on the Black Metal scene.
Parlaying this experience into their debut album, the trio have created eleven tracks that reek of the traditional darkness and menace one would expect from Black Metal, but which steer well clear anything even remotely formulaic. Recorded at Velvet Recording in Spydeberg with Christer Krohg, and with drums recorded at the Klang Studios in Oslo with Bjarne Stensli, “Satan Ov Suns” is an uncompromising work that offers extreme variations, and, according to the band, “a lot of groove”.
With artwork by Khaos Diktator Design, tracklisting for “Satan Ov Suns” is as follows:
Our Lord Cometh!
Rituals
Doedsvangr
Black Dawn
Northern Watchtowers
Diaboli
Gnashing Of Teeth
Breath Of Lucifer
Throne Of Black Illumination
Blood Whores
Black Sun Nimbus
In a recent comment DOEDSVANGR the band’s prolific frontman “Doedsadmiral” had this to say about the formation of the band, and its direction: “All my other bands each have a different sound and musical ethos one from the other, and DOEDSVANGR is one that comes from a much darker direction. DOEDSVANGR, like the other projects in which I’m involved, does not come from me alone, but is the result of two great musicians coming onboard so that together we can create music the way we all want it to sound, and perform it in a way that we all want to hear it. Will DOEDSVSANGR perform live one day? That remains to be seen, let’s just see where the album takes us first”.
“Satan Ov Suns” will be available in CD, Gatefold Double Vinyl and Digital formats and is available to pre-order in CD and Vinyl formats from HERE and in Digital format from HERE .
On the heels of the very successful self-titled debut album, Black Metallers NORDJEVEL are set to release “Krigsmakt”, a 7″ EP, which will hit the streets on Osmose Productions on the 20th February.
With artwork by Khaos Diktator Design, the three-track EP will be limited to 500 copies, the B side of which is silk screen printed, and comes with a printed inner sleeve . Tracklisting on “Krigsmakt” is as follows:
1.Krigsmakt
2.For De Falne…
3.Into Ever Deeper Depths
NORDJEVEL was founded by frontman Doedsadmiral (SVARTELDER, DOEDSVANGR, ENEPSIGOS) and guitarist Nord (FATAL IMPACT, TVANGESTE, BYRDI), and, making use of Doedsadmiral’s considerable skills at bringing together musicians who are not only hugely experienced, but who also share the same musical ideas and ideals, the band’s ranks were quickly swelled by MARDUK’s Fredrik Widigs on drums and former RAGNAROK bassist DzeptiCunt. With NORDJEVEL’s distinctive sound firmly set, the the band have added another guitarist to their lineup in the shape of Morten “Noralf” Kleftaas, who had previously appeared with the band as a session live guitarist.
The success of the band’s debut album meant that virtually overnight offers started to come in for live appearances, and, as a result, NORDJEVEL have handed their booking and management responsibilities to the Flaming Arts Agency. Commenting on the new collaboration the band had this to say:
“We have to admit that the success of the debut album caught us a little by surprise. We knew we had something special, but the response from the fans and critics was overwhelming, and resulted in a lot of interest in us playing live. We had to totally rethink everything very quickly, and came up with what we consider to be a perfect solution – and that was teaming up with Flaming Arts. Patricia Thomas, who has been Doedsadmiral’s personal manager for longer than either of them care to remember, and who works with all his projects, will continue handling all of NORDJEVEL’s PR. She and Flaming Arts have frequently worked together over the years and know how each other functions, which is a big plus for everyone concerned as there is no learning process. So now we have a great band and a great team, and we can look forward to the future, which will include more live appearances world-wide”.
Aside from preparing for their already confirmed live appearances, which include a UK tour in April, including an appearance at the Eradication Festival, a US tour in May, which will culminate in an appearance at the Maryland Deathfest, and an appearance at the Gothoom Open Air Festival in Slovakia in July, NORDJEVEL are currently working on their second full-length album.
