With less than a month to go to the release of “The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder”, the much-anticipated third full-length album from ENDEZZMA,  Dark Essence Records have provided a further glimpse  into the darkness  the Norwegian Black Metallers  are so adept at creating with the release of a new single taken from the album, along with an accompanying video.

The single, titled “Wild Glorior Death”  can be streamed or downloaded at

https://darkessencerecords.fanlink.to/Endezzma_Wild-Glorior-Death

Whilst the video for “Wild Glorior Death”  can be seen below and at https://youtu.be/BmugxJ3v1yM

The band point out that with its powerful build up to the climax the video is the perfect visual accompaniment to the track:

“Wild Glorior Death” is a true manifest and a real gate to the core of the mythical and philosophical depth of the album. In this song you find the essential battle of strength, untamed forces and the unbound darkness. A rapture of oppressive sonic splendour visualized by the video that follows the track. The journey builds up through a real violent and epic storm and through the thunder the listener will experience that the song represents the turning point in the storyline of the album. The Archer claims his throne through “Wild Glorior Death”

With “The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder”, ENDEZZMA have taken massive strides with their song writing, and have produced an album that bridges the gap between dark anthems and primitive aggression.  Recorded at the Vika Studio and the Malpherno Studio in Norway, the album was  mixed and mastered by Tore Stjerna at the Necromorbus Studio in Stockholm.  Artwork is by Stefan Todorovic/Kahos Diktator Design, and the tracklisting is as follows:

  1. The Awakening
  2. The Name of the Night is a Strong Tower
  3. Anomalious Abomination
  4. The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder
  5. Formless and Void
  6. Garden ov Heathen
  7. Wild Glorior Death
  8. Open Your Eyes and Stab the Sight

With The Name Of The Night Is A Strong Tower, we open the tunnels to The Archer’s mythical universe and oppressive landscape. As we let the philosophical perception of death collide with the sight of a grand epic awakening.

Who are we and what do we chase and hunt for if not a greater, intense progress of our burning idol known as death? Or, The Archer when he, upon his arrival announces: The Name Of The Night Is A Strong Tower.

ENDEZZMA was formed in 2006 by frontman M. Shax,  and the band’s  current lineup includes a plethora of talented and experienced musicans.  Together,  M. Shax  on vocals, M. “Anomalious Abomination” is the first video from  The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder’s dark infernal paradise. The music and track itself,  as well the visuals of the video,  is a rabid, fierce and infernal bestial “kick off” to the Archers mythical universe of perseverance, liberation and progress. This video is the first in a trinity of collaborations with the brilliant, artistic and Mephistophelic video director Guilherme Henriques,  and his way of working out the inner energy of the band. Let’s open the doors:

The law of the house celebrates death
The law of the house celebrates wild flesh on fire
Follow the archer’s arrow
Through the haze and the heart of your desire

We are excited to finally bring out the news and details of “The Archer, Fjord and the Thunder” because this is an album into which we really have placed not just a piece of our heart but also our  whole soul.  Never before have we worked as hard and as determinedly on every little detail of an album.  In it we really see the band arise out of the ashes as a new golden entity, with a hunger  that is more rabid than ever, filled with the desire to set the world ablaze with our music.

We feel that the album takes the band into a new epic and mythical landscape and sends  the listeners out on an  infernal , intense, and epic journey to a dark and obscure world that is lit by the archer’s flaming arrows of equilibrium, wild glorious death and anomalious abomination.

Endezzma PR 2020

Norwegian Black Metallers ENDEZZMA have signed a two-album deal with Dark Essence Records, joining a roster that includes some of the best known and established bands in the genre, as well as some of the upcoming artists that are making huge waves on the scene.

Formed in 2006 by frontman M. Shax, ENDEZZMA’s original lineup featured URGEHAL’s late, and much lamented, Trondr Nefas.  The duo, joined by other, experienced Norwegian musicians, quickly established a die-hard following, impressed by the band’s live appearances, which were imbued with  morbid overtones and an undercurrent of barely-suppressed viciousness.   “Alone”, ENDEZZMA’s aptly named first release,  cemented the band’s reputation as a force to be reckoned with. A band that went its own way, regardless of what others thought, or were doing.

The debut full-length “Erotik Nekrosis” appeared in 2012, and proved that ENDEZZMA was a band well-able to weave an old school atmosphere into  eerie, seductive, modern compositions, to produce  an album full of necro requiems.    It also marked the death of Trondr Nefas, which left  a vacuum within the band.  A  vacuum that was eventually filled by guitarist M. Malphas, which allowed ENDEZZMA to go on to explore mystical dark fields with their sophomore full-length “Arcane Abyss”.

Aside from Shax on vocals and Malphas on guitars, ENDEZZMA’s lineup includes Nihil on Rythm Guitar,  Skriu on  Drums and Aske on  Bass  –  a group of experienced musicians, hungry to bring their brand of brutal, fiercely intense, and yet aesthetically mystical approach, to Dark Essence Records, a label they know will understand where they are coming from, and where they want to go.

Commenting on what fans can expect from their third album, ENDEZZMA had this to say:

The upcoming album has been mixed and mastered by Tore Stjerna at the Necromorbus Studio in Stockholm. He Is well known for his great work on recent  WATAIN and MAYHEM albums, so we knew that we were in the hands of someone who would know exactly what we wanted.

Together with Dark Essence we intend to meet the high expectations that have been placed on us, and come out with an album of extremely strong material that will take fans into a mystical world of stellar darkness filled with mythical outcasts and characters.

Epic energy will burn the night!
It’s time to let the Stellar Darkness shine!
WE ARE ENDEZZMA

Formed in 2006 by Morten Shax and the late Trondr Nefas (URGEHAL, BEASTCRAFT, VULTURE LORD), ENDEZMMA  merges the icy aggression of Old School Black Metal with a distinctive sound all of its own, to create what the band describe as “Nekro Requiems”.   Aside from Shax on vocals, today’s lineup includes Malphas (BEASTCRAFT,CARPATHIAN FOREST,SVARTTJERN)on  Lead Guitar,  Nihil on Rythm Guitar, Skriu (ex live BLOOD RED THRONE) on Drums and  Aske (BYRDI) on Bass.

ENDEZZMA’s debut full-length album “Erotikk Nekrosis” was released in 2012, the year that also marked the death of Trondr Nefas, so it is fitting that the new EP serves as a tribute to the now legendary musician ahead of what will be the band’s sophomore full-length “The Arcane Abyss”, which will hit the streets at the end of March on Pulverised Records.

Norwegian Black Metallers ENDEZZMA have inked a deal with Pulverised Records for the release of their sophomore full-length album.  The finishing touches are currently being applied to the album, and it is anticipated that it will be released in the spring.   Commenting on the move to Pulverised, frontman and founder Morten Shax had this to say:  “We’re excited to be working with the guys from Pulverised as they have shown that they understand the band and what we are trying to achieve with our music, and that they are willing to work with us to that end”.

Details about the album have not been made public yet, but it will be the follow up to 2012’s “Erotik Nekrosis”, an album that showcased ENDEZZMA’s trademark sound with it’s cold and aggressive undertones and eerie atmosphere.  It also became somewhat of an epitaph for the  late Trondr Nefas (URGEHAL, BEASTCRAFT, VULTURE LORD) being, as it was, the last release he would ever record.

Aside from Shax on vocals, ENDEZZMA’s lineup also includes Mattis Malphas (BEASTCRAFT, HAGL, KOLDBRANN) and Nihil on guitars, Carl Balam (TROLL) on drums, and the most recent addition,  Jimmy Lucifer on bass.   “We have a superb lineup now” explains Shax, “musicians who are experienced, skilled and hungry –  perfect for ENDEZZMA in other words.  I don’t want to give anything away about the new album, and we will be announcing more details soon, but fans can expect a high level of aggression and musicianship”.

A music video for a track from the album is also in the works, and more information about ENDEZZMA can be found at http://www.facebook.com/endezzma
